Have You Considered Remodeling An Older Motorhome?

Yes, I know, this blog is suppose to be about living in a van. Actually it's about showing you as many alternatives and possibilities as possible. You can save a bundle by buying a used RV and remodeling it yourself to suit your needs. This particular one is 10 years old and is due for new curtains. The dinette has already been removed and hardwood flooring installed. This spring more will be done to make it our own. Click on the link to read more about updating older RV's.

Some Van Dwellers Brave The Winter Months

Just a little note to emphasize that not all full time van dwellers go south for the winter. I've spotted this little red, used to be mini-school bus, all over the city throughout this winter.

Parked hidden in plain, site you might say, in numerous empty business lots. One day I could of sworn he was following me as I seemed to stumble upon him everywhere I turned.

That's dedication to the lifestyle as the temps here have spent a lot of time down below the zero mark for much of the past month. I just wish I'd had the chance to chat with him, but that just wasn't the case.

If your thinking of going with a school bus, click on the link and read up on the subject.
